The Blue Comet Academy provides a smaller learning community for all rising ninth grade students at Asheboro High School. Dedicated staff members strive to provide a positive environment for each and every student and build relationships.

Students focus on core curriculum courses within the Blue Comet Academy along with having the opportunity to select elective courses within the comprehensive high school setting.

The Blue Comet Academy seeks to establish high expectations through differentiated instruction for all students. High expectations for behavior and respect for others are also established as the learning environment must be preserved and maintained.
