Visual Art (All Levels), Art Club*, & Flying Disc Club

Greetings! I'm a native of Wisconsin (GO PACK GO!), but North Carolina has been home since 1999. This year is my fourth at Asheboro High School. I hold an Associates Degree in Visual Art from Forsyth Technical Community College, a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University, and a graduate certificate in K-12 Art Education from UNC Charlotte. My background includes photography, printmaking, graphic design, painting, and art history. I spent four years providing instruction (or instructional support) at McColl Center for Visual Art and Community School of the Arts, both in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm co-sponsoring two clubs this year; the Flying Disc Club and Art Club. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the visual art program here at Asheboro High School.

If your child is currently enrolled in art, and you would like to volunteer your time and/or talent(s), I'd love to hear how you can contribute to our program! I currently need volunteers to help me:

- mount student art work
- label student art work
- photograph student art work
- hang/display student art work

Your help is very appreciated! Please use the following contact information to reach me:
